Body Scan

Body scanning is a component of mindful meditation. During a body scan, you focus on your breath and focus your attention on each body part being scanned while visualizing the breath penetrating and relaxing the body part.

Compare that to body checking, which often includes trying on various items of clothing, adjusting the way you’re posing to make your body appear smaller or fitter, feeling your flesh to determine if you’ve gained or lost weight, or staring at yourself in front of a mirror.

Which one sounds like a better way to get in touch with your body? Choose that one!!
