Half Smile

I always found DBT to be kind of silly (but so useful). After all, it’s all things we likely already know. For instance, if you’re really feeling like curling up in a ball and crying, try a half or forced smile and breathe through it. Did that help calm you down at all? It at least allows you to get through anything you need that involves being around other people. As the saying goes, “fake it until you make it”.
